Dr. Ahmad Nooristani was born on August 1, 1975, in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Dr. Nooristani received his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine.

As the guiding force behind the nonprofit 501(c)3 SLO Noor Foundation, Dr. Nooristani has been at the forefront of democratizing access to vital healthcare services. Rallying the commitment of hundreds of volunteers, he has championed the provision of medical, dental, and vision services completely free of charge. A testament to its impact, the foundation has catered to the needs of over 60,000 patients and counting since its establishment. To further its outreach, the SLO Noor Foundation joined forces with the Cal Poly Center for Health Research, introducing a mobile healthcare unit to the communities of Santa Maria and the unincorporated area of Guadalupe, California, ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to all.

Furthering his dedication to community healthcare, Dr. Nooristani laid the groundwork for Savie Health, a non-profit entity devoted to augmenting healthcare provisions for the uninsured and marginalized segments of the population. As the board president, he steers the organization's vision, ensuring comprehensive healthcare reaches those in dire need, especially within the expansive Santa Barbara County.

Dr. Nooristani serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Balance7, a dietary supplement company.

Dr. Nooristani advocates for healthcare reform, expressing concern over the number of uninsured individuals and inadequacies in the healthcare system in the United States.
